Domburg
After picking up your rental bike at the Fietstoko in Vrouwenpolder, you will soon cycle past Kasteel Westhove. The history of this building goes back to the Middle Ages. The Terra Maris museum is located in the orangery. From the replica motte castle you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Then get off in Domburg to experience the grandeur of a historic seaside resort. Time to have a nice cup of coffee somewhere!
Westkapelle Creek
Via the Westkapelse Kreek you drive from the nice Westkapelle to Zoutelande. The creek was created after the allied bombardment in WWII, during which a large part of the sea wall and the village itself were blown up. The coast from Westkapelle to the south is a series of small plots of deciduous forest, meadows and dunes. In Middelburg you can get off at Lientje Antique Toys Museum, with toys from the period 1800-1950. At the inner harbor you see many beautiful old buildings.
