Description
The Delfse Hout and Dobbeplas nature reserve is located in the middle of the busy Randstad. This place is ideally suited to enjoy a nice walk.
In the middle of the green
During this walk you go straight through the Delftse Hout, a beautiful recreation and nature reserve on the northern edge of Delft. Here you can enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding, picnics or fishing. It is a varied area with open water, reed collars, forest parks and quiet open spaces. You take a tour around the Grote Plas and then walk to the Bieslandse Bos.
Walking through the woods
The Dobbeplas nature and recreation area is also a great base for your walk. On the hill at the edge of the lake you can enjoy a fantastic view. The area has a surprising diversity of plant and bird species. On the nature experience island in the lake there is a bird observation hut, intended to study the island's birds. A quiet place for a nice walk!
