Description
In the middle of the busy Randstad lies the nature reserve Delfse Hout and the Dobbeplas. This place is ideally suited to enjoy a nice walk.
In the middle of the green
During this walk you will go right through the Delftse Hout, a beautiful recreation and nature area on the northern edge of Delft. Here you can walk, cycle, horseback ride, picnic or fish. It is a varied area with open water, reed beds, forest plantations and quiet open spaces. You will make a round around the Grote Plas and then walk to the Bieslandse Bos.
Walking through the woods
The nature and recreation area Dobbeplas is also a great base for your walk. On the hill at the edge of the lake you can enjoy a fantastic view. The area has a surprising diversity of plant and bird species. On the nature experience island in the lake there is a bird observation hut, intended to study the birds of the island. A quiet place for a nice walk!
