Description
Emst is a beautiful village in the IJssel valley that is easy to discover with a walk. In the outlying area you walk through the farmlands and recreation area Kievitsveld.
Slow down
You set off from the edge of the village of Vaassen. The first kilometers of car-free roads lead you through the varied agricultural landscape. You have a beautiful view over fields and fields, occasionally you pass a beautiful old farm. It is wonderfully quiet here in this region, ideal for relaxing and contemplation.
Kievitsveld
You walk to the Kievitsveld. For decades this area was the terrain of carp breeders, now it has been transformed into a recreational area consisting of puddles and ponds, forest and flowery fields. You can easily walk back to the starting point along the canal.
