Village walk Reusel

The walk starts at TIP and follows the walking nodes.
We start with the beautiful"wedding lane\\\" in front of the church. This lane is lined by Linden and gives a nice view of the church.
To the left of the church is the war memorial, a work of art by Ger Stallenberg, for the fallen from the Second World War. 
Diagonally opposite the town hall you will see the modern designed bus station. The roof shape of the bus station is derived from the contours of the foundations of a Romanesque and a Gothic church that stood on that spot. The first foundations date from the 11th century. Near the bus stop is also the artwork"worn on hands\\\" by the Reuselse artist Trudy van Loon.
Via the Hoevenhei Nature Trail. A few years ago, a strip of nature was developed by the municipality of Reusel - De Mierden, in collaboration with the farmers who owned land here. It is now a pleasant walking path with flowery verges, scrub, bushes and a few pools on both sides. Such a protected strip of nature is important for butterflies, frogs and small mammals to be able to migrate safely between the open arable lands. This section is also a wheelchair path. From the Achterste Heikant towards a beautiful nature reserve"Experience\\\". Before 2008 this was agricultural area. Due to nature development, the soil layer saturated with manure was removed over an area of 85 hectares. As a result, 2 fens appeared that had been closed 100 years ago. Birds soon discovered the new habitat. There are many water and meadow birds to admire, also from a hide.
