Dutch through and through! Enjoy the bulb fields and the beautiful Dutch beaches. Visit the charming Callantsoog along the way and your day out is complete!
Callantsoog
Your route starts at Beachcombers Museum Callantsoog, a museum with special collections of treasures found from the sea. After a nice cup of coffee and cake, put on your walking shoes. First you walk to the beach - the sea beckons after such a special museum! You walk along the water to the center of charming Callantsoog, with the beautiful Reformed Church from 1580. The beautifully finished tower dates from 1671.
Flower fields
Then you dive into the polder and discover the old dikes and quiet country roads behind the North Holland coast. In the spring, tulips, daffodils and hyacinths bloom in abundance in the bulb fields. It is so beautiful here to walk along meadow polders and colorful flower fields, you would almost forget how the battle against the water took place here. After a cup of coffee at the cozy Princen Keet, you walk back to your starting point.
