Cozy villages and towns on the Veluwe

From your starting point, where you can rent a bike at Fietsverhuur Hazeleger, you cycle straight onto the Elspeetse Heide, where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views. You might even encounter the shepherd with his sheep! Just above the beautiful old hamlet of Leuvenum, you briefly ride through an agricultural enclave of fields and wooded banks. You continue straight through the Leuvenumse forests. There is plenty of wildlife here; who knows, you might even spot a deer or a wild boar! Along the waters of the Wolderwijd, one of the Veluwe lakes, you cycle into Harderwijk. In this Hanseatic town, you will find many monumental buildings. They create a unique historical atmosphere. Via cozy Nunspeet and the Nunspeet Visitor Centre, you ride straight back through the forests.
