Description
Put on your sturdy walking shoes for a varied route on Walcheren. From Vlissingen you can walk straight into the polder. Enjoy the fresh air and the vast landscape, while you see the dunes coming closer on the horizon. From the path you regularly have a view of the sea. Near Vlissingen you will pass the Nollebos, a nature reserve that was created in the thirties of the last century on the site of the former Fort De Nolle. Walk into Vlissingen via the Leeuwentrap: this monumental staircase was specially constructed in 1907 for bathers.
