From museum to museum and village to village along the Zeeland Riviera. Anyone who likes cycling but also likes to get off regularly has come to the right place!
From here you cycle through the cozy Zoutelande and the Westkapelse Kreek to the nice Westkapelle. The creek was created after the Allied bombardment in WWII, during which a large part of the sea wall and the village itself were blown up. You can learn more about it at Het Polderhuis Museum. Then get off in Domburg to taste the grandeur of a historic seaside resort.
A little further on you cycle past Kasteel Westhove. The history of this building goes back to the Middle Ages. The Terra Maris museum is located in the orangery. You can enjoy a beautiful panorama from the recreated motte-and-bailey castle. In Oostkapelle you can admire the beautiful village church on the Ring. The tower dates back to the fourteenth century. Via Koudekerke you cycle back to your starting point, straight through the Zeeland polder landscape. What a silence!
