From museum to museum and village to village along the Zeeland Riviera. Anyone who enjoys cycling but also enjoys getting off regularly has come to the right place!
Westkapelse Creek
From here you cycle via the pleasant Zoutelande and the Westkapelse Kreek to the nice Westkapelle. The creek was created after the Allied bombardment in WWII, during which a large part of the sea wall and the village itself were blown up. You can learn more about it at Het Polderhuis Museum. Then get off in Domburg to experience the grandeur of a historic seaside resort.
Terra Maris
A little further on you cycle past Westhove Castle. The history of this building goes back to the Middle Ages. The Terra Maris Museum is located in the orangery. You can enjoy a beautiful panorama from the recreated motte-and-bailey castle. In Oostkapelle you can admire the beautiful village church on the Ring. The tower dates from the fourteenth century. Via Koudekerke you cycle back to your starting point, straight through the Zeeland polder land. What a silence!
