An eight in the Someren area

With this cycle route you make a loop through the Someren area. The first drive to Someren-Eind, a mining village that was created in the mid-nineteenth century. In the countryside you drive on low-traffic roads between fields and grasslands. You also pass the White Mountains: a small-scale production forest where fragrant conifers grow. The second loop takes you through one of the natural gems in Brabant: the Strabrechtse Heide. A vast nature reserve with forests and natural heathland. With a bit of luck you will come across the herd of sheep that graze this area, it gives you the idea of taking a leap back in time. On the outskirts of Someren you pass the Museum for Flight Simulation.
