Description
De Groote Peel National Park is a beautiful area, be sure to get off here during your cycling route. But there is much more to discover in the area, in nature and nice villages!
Visitor Center
Your route starts at Recreatiepark De Leistert. From here you cycle between the forests of the Asbroekerheide and Kirkelsberg, the Spanjese Bos and Nederpeel Grave to Groote Moost. Along the edge of the Simonshoekse Bos you drive towards Ospeldijk. You drive right along the edge of De Groote Peel National Park. The visitor center is on your route, it is worth getting off! Take a short walk to the watchtower here.
Villages
Via rural roads you drive to Someren-Heide. Via Someren-Eind you continue to the northern edge of the Groote Peel. You cycle back to your starting point via nature reserves such as Het Zinkske and numerous villages, such as Grashoek and Beringe. What a varied route!
