There are some beautiful nature reserves around Zoetermeer. You will also pass through towns full of sights.
Westerpark
After a night's sleep at Camping De Drie Morgen, you will have enough energy for a bike ride through the Groene Hart. First you drive through the large Westerpark. You will see numerous native trees and shrubs here. Yes, you really drive here in the Randstad! A little later you drive through the heart of Zoetermeer. You will learn more about the history of this town in Zoetermeer City Museum in't Oude Huis.
Bentwoud
A little later you drive a bit through the Bentwoud: a young forest in which room has also been made for flower-rich grasslands and swamps. With over 800 hectares, this is the largest contiguous forest area in the Randstad. It is also nice to cycle along the Zoetermeerse Plas. At Boerderij't Geertje you are welcome for a coffee and something tasty, before you drive to De Vlietlanden near Voorschoten: a water-rich nature reserve. In Leidschendam you can experience some cultural history.
