Old Beijerland
After a night's sleep at Camping't Volgerland you will have enough energy for a day of cycling. From the campsite you can drive straight into the rural Hoeksche Waard. You drive here on low-traffic roads through a cultural landscape of grasslands and ditches along which willows and reed beds grow. How quiet it is here! In the cozy Oud-Beijerland you see many beautiful monuments, what a nice atmosphere!
Voorne-Putten
From Nieuw-Beijerland you cross the Spui via a ferry. The ferry sails daily from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm, more information can be found at www.thequeenjacqueline.nl. You drive through Hekelingen, the oldest village on Voorne-Putten. You can get a breath of fresh air in the Polder Oud-Schuddebeurs. Back in the Hoeksche Waard you will pass Nieuwendijk, where you can take the boat to the island of Tiengemeten. Further on you will pass through Zuid-Beijerland, where you will see Korenmolen Landzigt from 1857.
