A versatile cycling route from EuroParcs Resort Veluwemeer

A varied day awaits you with this beautiful route through the Gelderse Valley and the Veluwe. You will also pass through Harderwijk and Nunspeet, picturesque towns with a rich history.

From EuroParcs Resort Veluwemeer you can drive straight into the vast polders. Get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the tranquility and the traditional Dutch landscape of meadows, cows and ditches. Just before Hierden you pass the Bloemkampen on the left: a humid nature reserve with flowery hay and grasslands. A little later you enter the old center of Harderwijk. You can see many beautiful old buildings here. From the harbor you look out over the Wolderwijd.

Nunspeet
In the Leuvenumse Bos you immediately experience the characteristic silence of the Veluwe. You get a lot of energy from this, cycling seems to go almost automatically. Just above the hamlet of Leuvenum you drive through an agricultural enclave of fields and wooded banks. Further on, the landscape suddenly opens up when you cycle across the Elspeetse Heide. You drive back to EuroParcs Resort Veluwemeer via the beautiful Nunspeet. Here you can recharge your batteries with a meal in the restaurant.
