The beautiful nature around Nijmegen

In Nijmegen you cycle along the iconic Waalkade. You will find plenty of variety around the city: from the watery lowlands in the Gelderse Poort to the wooded slopes at Berg en Dal.

Waalkade
From MOoij Bed and Breakfast you drive towards Nijmegen. In the distance you can already see the Waal Bridge. On the Waalkade you have beautiful views of the Waal and the countryside. On the left you will see the Besiendershuis from 1525. This'siender\\\' had to collect the tolls from passing ships. Just past Beuningen you pass the Van't Lindenhout Museum, which is located in an old church. Here you will learn more about the history of the Orphanage and Children's Village Neerbosch.

Pressings
Further on you drive through beautiful Nijmegen again. Just outside the city you cycle through the woods and drive through Berg en Dal, a village rich in old villas. You descend again to the Ooijpolder, where you can view the Church of Persingen: a beautiful building that dates from the Middle Ages. You cycle along the rugged landscape of the Oude Waal to Tiengeboden, further on you pass through the Groenlanden nature reserve.
