Spiegelburg Camping und Gasthaus

A location along the lovely spring river Werra with wooded mountains as a backdrop and the historic city of Hannoversch Münden nearby: that is the comfortable location of Spiegelberg Camping and Gasthaus. The area offers idyllic river landscapes and endless forest areas where you can cycle smoothly and stroll for hours. The art city of Kassel is not far away.

The campsite is easily accessible through a varied landscape of flat land and large, wooded hills. Once on site, the campsite looks attractive: green, spacious and attractive due to both the surrounding nature and the attractive river. The reception can be found in the hotel restaurant, across the road.

Along the river

The site is flat, spacious, well-organized, partly shaded and well maintained. It is spread out along the river. The tents, caravans and campers are on good grass. There is no demarcation between the places. Guests can choose a place with or without shade. There is also hotel accommodation and fully equipped bungalow tents for rent.

Live music

There is sometimes live music in the hotel and every first Saturday of the month is pancake day. For city entertainment, head to the nearby historic city of Hannoversch Münden, 7.5 km away. Hikers and cyclists can enjoy themselves in the surrounding area. For cyclists, there are four long cycle routes from Hannoversch Münden along the rivers Weser, Werra and Fulda. The city is also surrounded by large forest areas, the Kaufunger Wald, the Bramwald and the Reinhardswald, through which various well-known hiking trails run. The Werra River also offers fun for paddlers in a canoe or kayak.

Nice view

The Spiegelberg Camping and Gasthaus hotel has a restaurant with simple cuisine and varying (seasonal) dishes. It also has a terrace with a beautiful view of the beautiful surroundings. Food is only available to a limited extent at the campsite.

Sanitary

The sanitary facilities are in good order and are kept sufficiently clean. There is a road between the sanitary facilities and the campsite.
