Camping Denntal

The Ahrtal is known for its viticulture. Characteristic are the deep incisions (up to three hundred meters) in the rocky landscape. Camping Denntal is located here, which offers excellent opportunities to explore this beautiful area at your leisure. Excellent signposted walking and cycling routes have been set out in the valley. The camping site itself is an oasis of tranquility. Here you can hear the chirping of the birds and you will not be bothered by the busy and noisy traffic on the through route. You really stay here in the middle of a beautiful piece of nature.

From the A61, take exit 29 Kreuz Meckenheim. Drive via Altenahr and Putzfeld to Ahrbruck. The last part you follow a slightly sloping asphalt road to the entrance of the campsite. The road leads along a river.

Friendly and helpful

The friendliness and helpfulness of the managers is highly appreciated by many visitors. Jens, the owner, is a man of few words. In the reception you will often find his wife Yvonne. Their daughters sometimes help too.

Nature smiles at you

Camping Denntal presents itself as the quietest and best equipped campsite in the Ahrtal. You only really notice what that means when you look around you from your camping spot on a beautiful sunny day: everywhere you have a view of wooded slopes that offer a beautiful view in the sunlight. At camping Denntal, nature smiles on you. The site is located in a beautiful natural environment. There are marked and non-marked pitches, all with electricity, a tap and a drain for dirty water. Some pitches have grass concrete blocks. The sanitary facilities are modern, comfortable and well maintained.

Nice playground, complete fitness room and wellness facilities

The campsite is popular with seniors and couples, but families with young children are also very welcome. There is a playground with quite a few facilities. Especially those who want to relax in a quiet environment will find their place here. There is no swimming pool on site, but for a good workout you can visit the well-equipped fitness center. Afterwards you can relax in the Finnish 'Stadl' sauna, the steam bath or the infrared cabin.

Restaurant

Restaurant Tannenhof is open from Wednesday to Sunday. It is known for its 'gutburgerliche' quality and friendly prices. A limited range of food is offered at the campsite. For additional shopping you can go to the supermarket and the bakery on the edge of the village.

Beautiful walking and cycling area

The area is known for its extensive hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails. Along the way you can enjoy beautiful views over the Ahr valley and the rolling hills of the hinterland. The main routes in the area are well signposted.
