Camping Main-Spessart-Park

In the north of Bavaria, about five hundred kilometers from Utrecht and forty kilometers from Wurzburg, the neat and pleasant Camping Main-Spessart-Park is located between the vineyards. This campsite is popular with a wide group of campers. During the summer holidays, families enjoy the adjacent swimming pool and the fun activities and outings. And culture and nature lovers can indulge themselves in this beautiful region full of rich history.

Transit campsite or stay longer

Due to its convenient location, not too far from the motorway, this is a popular transit site for campers en route to Austria or Italy. There is the possibility to spend the night with your caravan coupled and the highway is far enough not to be bothered by it. But we would be disparaging this campsite by labeling it only as a transit campsite.

Hospitable, well-kept and excellent sanitary facilities

Camping Main-Spessart-Park is a green, well-maintained campsite with spacious and well-maintained pitches. From some camping pitches you have a view of the river Main. You will receive a friendly and hospitable welcome and you will receive a clear explanation and a map. You can also rent mobile homes and an apartment here or opt for a special overnight stay in a large wine barrel.

The beautiful and clean sanitary facilities are much appreciated by the campers. There are several sanitary buildings spread over the site. There are special children's sanitary facilities and one of the buildings has all facilities for campers with disabilities.

Italian restaurant with schnitzels

For a nice meal you can go to the camping restaurant. Here the Italian cuisine is combined with the local. Schnitzel or pasta; the choice is yours. The town of Marktheidenfeld is a few kilometers from the campsite, which also has nice restaurants and cafes. There is a small shop next to the reception and from April to the end of October you can get fresh bread rolls at the campsite in the morning.

Swimming, wine and culture

The campsite is three hundred meters from an outdoor swimming pool. That means plenty of swimming fun in the summer. In July and August, fun activities are also organized for children, such as sports tournaments, boat trips, outings and campfires. In June and September there are special cultural weeks, during which you can go on all kinds of excursions and trips as a camping guest.

Another nice tip is a boat trip on the Main: a wonderfully relaxing way to enjoy the romantic landscape with steep vineyards, castles and monasteries. The local wine festivals are also celebrated in the area. An excellent opportunity to taste the wines and other regional products.
