Boerderij Boterhuys

This farm is located in the middle of the ancient Boterhuis polders, under the smoke of Leiden. The organic dairy farm and ice cream shop is a nice picnic and meeting place for anyone who wants a taste of farm life. Nothing as delicious as polder ice cream. They make ice cream from the milk of their own Blaarkop cows: close to the polder, close to history and wonderfully creamy. You can walk to the waterfront with your ice cream in hand. A nice place to take part in all your wanderings between't Joppe and Oude Ade. You will find so much nature near the city!
