Koetshuis De Sonnenberg
This building is the only remnant of Castle de Sonnenberg that was badly damaged during the Second World War. When Mr. Wellenbergh had his country house built in 1883, he laid the motto above the entrance: "Gott sy mi Sonn und Burg". During World War II, the Germans requisitioned the building that was badly damaged during the Battle of Arnhem. In 1951 the estate came into the hands of the municipality of Renkum. He had the country house demolished in 1953. Today, a care center is located at De Sonnenberg.
