The Airborne monument in Oosterbeek is a memorial column from 1946 on which stands a group of natural stone statues of five male figures: one man represents freedom and is surrounded by civilians and soldiers. At the base of the column, four depictions have been placed in relief: the east side represents the landing of the Allied troops, the south side the aid of the Oosterbeek women to the wounded, the west side the cooperation of the resistance in the Airborne and the north side the last resistance. An information board has been placed near the memorial. A memorial plaque contains the names of those who made this project possible. The picture is bricked into one of the lighting walls.
