Restaurant de Riete

Restaurant-Bar De Riete is a lovely and excellent restaurant in Dwingeloo for lunch, dinner, or tapas. From this unique spot, you overlook the Brink, the beautifully restored green village square. Here lies the pond "De Riete": it was once used for firefighting water and as a drinking trough for livestock. It's an ideal resting place for cyclists and hikers exploring the beautiful surroundings. Dwingeloo is centrally located between three beautiful nature reserves: the Dwingelderveld, the Drents-Friese Woud, and the Holtingerveld. The village itself is one of the best-preserved village greens in the Netherlands!
