Vuurtoren Willemstad

The lighthouse on the Willemstadse Lantaarndijk is the only lighthouse in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant. The turret was built in 1946 by the local contractor Herwig and replaced a pentagonal openwork cast iron light curb on that spot. The light in the yellow lantern was lit in 1947 and extinguished in 1989. The tower is open to the public from time to time.
