Dijkwoning ‘Fort Oranje’

This seventeenth-century fortress has a great history. It was built in 1654 and until 1995 belonged to 'the owners of the right of accretion' under Fijnaart. This was a society that cultivated the buntings here. For more than two centuries, the steward of the Attendants presented in the dome every month of June the bill for the lease of the lands.
