Weeshuis Monnickendam

On the edge of the center of Monnickendam is a beautiful 16th century building. Enter the cozy tearoom for a cup of tea or coffee. You should not miss the famous apple pie they make here. And while you are there, immediately take a look at the glass workshop, where participants make original products from glassware. Very nice as a gift or souvenir! At the rope-making workshop, the participants are still really working on an old craft. Definitely worth a visit to this special location.
