Voormalige Latijnse school (Jacob van Lennep wandelroute)

Many years earlier (from 1813) Jacob went to the Latin school at Singel 453, between the Heiligeweg and the Munt. The building had been the Chaplain's House until 1666. After the demolition in 1897, the Civil Registry was established at that location. A copy of the gate of the Chaplaincy House is part of the facade. Source: Marita Mathijsen, 'Deftige circles.
