Stadhouderlijk Hof

The Stadhouderlijk Hof is a former palace that was in the hands of the royal family until 1971. The original building dates from 1564, but was radically renovated in 1881. In 1823 Van Lennep and Van Hogendorp visited the building. To Van Lennep it comes across as a "(...) large, poorly furnished Brabant inn".
