Anton Wachter-beeld

In the Voorstraat 61 you will find a sign on the side wall of the house in memory of Simon Vestdijk. The writer was born here in 1898. In honor of his rich oeuvre, a statue of Anton Wachter, the main character from the highly autobiographical Anton Wachter novels, was placed diagonally opposite this house in 1973.
