Huis Almelo

The history of this manor goes back to the end of the thirteenth century. The current country house originally dates from 1652, but has been restored several times. Here, Van Lennep and Van Hogendorp visited a scion of the Van Rechteren Limpurg family during their walk. This family still owns Huis Almelo!
