Fort Lunet aan de Donge

When you leave the city center, you will find Fort Lunet on the other side of the Donge, a new part of the Zuiderwaterlinie. The fort was only built after the Belgian revolt in 1830 as a reinforcement for the Zuiderwaterlinie. This new fort guarded the Donge and the Straatweg Breda-Gorinchem, which Napoleon had built.
