Molenhuijs Waarland

Molenhuijs Waarland consists, among other things, of the Waarlandsmolen, a North-Holland inner barber from 1530. The oldest wooden polder mill in our country! In 1853 a house was made in the mill. After the restoration in 2014, the mill was given a museum function. The interior of this mill is from the 1930s. In the Molenhuijs, an outbuilding, is a permanent exhibition about the struggle against water through the ages. There is an aerial photo from 1945. Furthermore, there is a changing exhibition every season.
