Korenmolen De Hoop was built in Leiden in 1631 as a fulling mill for the textile industry and ended as a sawmill. In 1865 the mill was moved to Zand and built as a corn mill. In addition to the mill, there is also a motorboat, in which a Ruston engine from 1932 can also drive the millstones. Besides a cup of coffee with cake or some soda, you can also go here for flour products. On the site you will find 14 camper pitches, with a beautiful view of the mill and surrounding flower fields. For opening times see www.molentzand.nl.
