Brasserie de Kat

Brasserie de Kat started out as a small farm where people could have clothes repaired and have a drink while waiting. In 1897, for a bottle of young jenever, part of the farm was converted into a café within a week (or so the legend goes) under the direction of Marinus Hessels (Tinuske de Kat). Hence the name! The company has been given a makeover, but the history of the café? has not been forgotten. The nature around Udenhout is reflected in the interior and on the map. A nice base for your discovery of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes!
