Margaret of Austria was governor of the Habsburg Netherlands between 1507 and 1530. Her residential palace is the court of Savoy, the first Renaissance building in the Low Countries. Enjoy the beautiful Renaissance façade and the charming garden. From 1616 to 1796, the palace was occupied by the Great Council, the highest court in the Southern Netherlands. The garden of the palace of Margaret of Austria is open every day between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. During the weekend and public holidays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
