Museumboerderij Tante Jaantje

This museum is located in a dune bell jar in an authentic condition. It is the only farm of its kind. In this museum you will learn more about how people used to live and work in this area. Not only on the edge of the country, but also on the edge of existence: poor and worrying. These characteristics are reflected in the construction of this farm: soberly set up, often with wood that came directly from the beach. The furnishing of the farm dates from the 1930s. In the museum you will also find a piece of the history of the KNRM and the development of the coastline from thousands of years ago to the present.
