The Vierdaagsebos was created on the occasion of the 100th Nijmegen Four Days Marches in 2016. The DE 4DAAGSE Foundation is committed to sustainability and green walking routes. That is why the Vierdaagsebos was planted during the National Tree Day Celebration in Park Lingezegen in 2014.
