Het Business centrum

This building with the clearly recognizable buttresses was once the Reformed Church on the Strandweg. Church services were held here until 1958. In that year a new church was put into use in the village center, after which the old church with rectory was sold to the J. Kleijwegt firm. The contractor initially wanted to turn the church into a hotel. It did not come that far, because in connection with the improvement of the harbor mouth at Hoek van Holland, there was a need for office space. It was found in the old church. After a thorough renovation, it served as an office for years. After completion of the works, the building came into the hands of a project developer, who turned it into a business center.
