De Dorpskerk - Hoek van Holland
This church was built in 1926 and inaugurated that same year. Originally the church was for the Dutch Reformed congregation in Hoek van Holland. The church has beautiful stained glass windows in both side walls. On the east side you see Moses with the "Tables" with the Ten Commandments. This window was installed in 1949 and was designed by glassmaker Blom from Rotterdam. On the west side you can see John the Baptist on a window from 1988 designed by Ben Aalbers from Leidschendam. The church has a slate roof and a copper spire. On March 6, 2011, the renovated and renovated church was festively put into use by the Protestant Church.
