Schietbaan Trentse bossen

The shooting range was built in 1947 as a fencing shooting range for the marines of Volkel airfield. In 1953 the firing range became the property of the Air Force. The firing range was a plain with 'screens' and a sand hill at the end to catch the ammunition. This is still clearly visible.
