Church
Kerk van de Goddelijke Zaligmaker
This predominantly Gothic church was built in stages from the 13th to the 16th century. One of the ecclesiastical treasures is the Gothic altarpiece dating from 1400-1404, which is related to the annual horse procession. After high mass on Easter Monday, a large procession, followed by a large number of horses, moves from the town into the fields. The image of the Divine Savior is carried to an altar in the middle of the fields. The horses trot around it three times, after which the spectators, the riders and the horses are blessed.
