's Hertogenmolens

Across the Demer are the 's Hertogenmills. This unique complex of three mills was established at the beginning of the 16th century. At the time it had three functions: grinding, collecting tolls and defending the city. With its former water gate, lock and ban mill, it is a reminder of the dukes of Aarschot.
