De Voorste Luysmolen

The Luysmolen was first mentioned in 1515. It milled for the last time in 1965. Initially 'de Voorste Luysmolen' was a full mill, later on grain was probably also ground. The mill has been renovated several times over the years. De Luysmolen is located on the border of Bocholt and Bree, in the middle of a continuous nature reserve. From here you can make beautiful walks and bike rides along the different areas of the GrensPark Kempen ~ Broek. For those who leave elsewhere and pass the Luysmolen, the place is an excellent resting point. For several years, a cycling and walking inn has been established along the mill, where you can enjoy a delicious drink and a small snack.
