Kapelberg Bergharen

From the 14th century, a Marian celebration takes place on the Kapelberg. In 1302 land was purchased in this area for the construction of a monastery farm. Until the work was outsourced to lay brothers, monks worked in these courtyards. In 1312 a statue of Mary was built in the then called Molenberg.
