Missiemuseum Steyl

The Steyl Missionaries spread Catholicism far beyond the border. They traveled to China and Indonesia, among other places. During their missions they took many exotic objects and animals to the Netherlands. These can be seen in the Mission Museum Steyl. This museum provides an interesting insight into the era of how museums and other cultures were viewed in the first half of the twentieth century. You can also walk through the monastery gardens and visit the St. Michael's Church.
