Oorlogsbegraafplaats Weeze
This war cemetery contains 2,016 soldiers who were killed in World War II. On June 4, 1944, the Allied troops land on the French beaches in Normandy, after which they started their advance towards Germany. They reached Weeze in late February and early March 1945. There was fierce fighting for three days.
