Oliemolen van Tüschenbroich

The T? Schenbroich oil mill is a half-timbered water mill at T? Schenbroich Castle. The mill was located on the Swalm, the river that formed the border between the Duchy of Gelre and the Duchy of Gulik. The local population was obliged to grind their grain at this ban mill. Hereby Mr. van T? Schenbroich knew exactly how much grain was going in his area and how much tax he could levy.
