Chapel or cross
Ulrichskapel
The baroque Ulrich Chapel from the seventeenth century is located in the middle of the T? Schenbroich nature reserve, part of kreis Heinsberg. According to local legend, the chapel was built in memory of Ulrich, son of the Count of T? Schenbroich. Ulrich is said to have joined a roaming gang of robbers and was accidentally killed by his father's soldiers. Out of grief, the count founded a chapel for his son, which he named after him: the Ulrich Chapel.
