Rattentoren

The Rattentoren, where the Poppentheater De Klaproos can now be found, is a remnant of the city wall of Roermond. When Roermond received city rights in the fourteenth century, it also received reinforced city walls. This Rattentoren, together with the Cattentoren, is the only one of the originally twenty wall towers that has been preserved.
