Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe-Geboortekerk

The first church stood on this square in 1236. In 1872, the current Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe-Geboortekerk was established to a design by the Limburg architect Pierre Cuypers. The church was largely destroyed during the liberation of the southern part of the Netherlands in 1944. Repairs started in 1948.
