Church
Sint Catharinakerk
Where St. Catherine's Church now stands, a chapel was created in the fifteenth century. The choir of the current church still comes from this chapel. In the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century, a cult arose in Leunen around Saint Apollonia, the patron saint of dental problems. She was also honored in Arcen. In order to accommodate the many faithful, the church was expanded during this period and provided with a new tower.
