Sint Antonius Abtkerk

On the site where the Sint Antonius Abbot Church now stands, a small church probably already stood in the thirteenth century. Around the same time, the Ambt Mook was sold by the bishop of Aachen to Gerard III of Gelre. Mook was alternately in Gelderland and Cleves hands until 1543. The church was damaged in 1574 during the Eighty Years' War and in 1675 during the Franco-Dutch Wars. The current church is, among other things, the result of restorations and conversions that took place in the twentieth century.
